Marketing-Automatisierung mit Codex: Workflows für Content und Konkurrenzanalyse

VideoRiley BrownAnleitung

If you use ChatGPT, Claude, Claude co-worker, or Codex, but don't know how to use agents for marketing, you're in the right place. I run my entire startup inside Codex, and I use GBT 5.6, their new model that's close to as good as Fable to do basically everything. And today, I'm joined by Vishal, my co-founder who's transitioning from a software engineering role to a marketing role. And so today, I'm going to show him the nine most important workflows inside Codex that helped me use agents for marketing. So today, before we dive into the workflows, I just want to kind of give the audience here a quick explanation of what Codex is. On the left here, we have our chats and we also can organize the chats into projects if we want. And for example, this is the agent native podcast, and so I have all my chat threads about the agent native podcast here. So if I were to click on one, it would show up right here, and then you have the agent chat here. And then whatever I'm working on with the agent shows up here. You can go to Codex, and you can ask it for any knowledge work task basically, and you can also ask it to create an app. And you use Codex a lot. You use Codex and Cloud Code. Yeah, mostly for coding. Mostly for coding. Yeah. Yeah, but you're transitioning over to marketing because it's kind of the bottleneck. I mean the the incremental value from doing marketing is just higher now than it was, than it is for engineering. We have Fable running, 24/7. Our team's able to do more, and marketing is Yeah. I have Fable running right now. Yeah. You have Fable running right now in the other room. Yeah, the the other room. So the first marketing skill or workflow that I use inside Codex is one that allows us to scrape all social media content from every single platform. Let me show you how this works. So I have a skill, and I can just type in /scrape creators, please find the creator Callaway on Instagram. I love his social media content, get his best 10 videos from the past few months, and I want the transcript and the raw videos, and I want them put into a new notion database. You can put the notion database just in the archive right now. This is just for testing purposes. And then I also want you to tell me why he's such an effective short-form creator. So I can fire this off, and so for this one, I don't think we need to use So High. I'm going to use 5.6 Soul, which is their biggest model, and we're going to use medium. I found that your limits will last quite a while if you use medium. This is a straightforward task. So we're just going to fire it off like this, and now we're going to wait. I think this will take two or three minutes, and it's going to scrape all of Callaway's videos from Instagram. That's awesome. Did did you make this skill? So this is a skill that I created using the scrape creators API. I found the verified main account Callaway on Instagram, and here it says the 10 source videos are now downloaded locally, and the 10 transcripts succeeded. I've created the test database inside the current archive page. Now I'm uploading the actual MP4 files and writing each ranked record. So it's basically creating a database of his content and we're just scraping it. And I'll get to this in just a second. I'm also, for the next skill, I'm going to be turning Callaway's content into a separate skill that allows me to tap into his like really good scripting. So, so the goal then is that you use these skills together to find creators, learn how they speak, and then adjust your own kind of scripting, all of that process. Exactly. Ultimately, the reason why AI is bad at writing content scripts is because, you know, with coding, it's very easy to verify whether something is good or something is bad, right? It's like, does the app work? You know, it's it's way more deterministic, it's easier to validate. Whereas content, it's subjective. Yeah. So in that for that reason, over the last three years, even though AI's gotten so much smarter, it hasn't gotten any better at writing content. Now, AI is really good at replicating or using something as an example and finding patterns and really good examples, and then creating content. So the only thing you need to do in order to create really good content is provide really good examples. And so that's what we're doing here, is we're giving a database or an API to the AI agent, so that whenever it needs to create content like someone, it can just go find good examples. Yeah, and it also allows you to kind of put in your taste, right? And there you go. Look at that. Check this out. So it went to Instagram, it found his latest videos. It has the number of comments, how long the video was in seconds, down to the decimal point. It has the Instagram reel, number of likes. Here's the script. This Chinese company ByteDance has officially released C Dance 2. And this is a big one, right? And you know, these subtle things and we I just showed you his videos, and it's he's very melodic, and he has really good scripting. In fact, that's like what his content is about, and it's so if you make your content or in marketing, you're going to want to pay attention to this. And so we now have all of his videos scraped and in a notion database. And then we can open notion directly inside Codex. That's awesome. And check this out. So here's the actual raw video. It scraped this and downloaded it, and it just uploaded it to Notion. And so one of the really useful things for this, if you're a video editor, oftentimes, like if you're doing like compilations, or even like just a normal video editor like Leo, he wants to get B roll a lot, and so you can do this on YouTube. And you could say like, go find videos of Switzerland, or go find videos of Alex Hormozi, and he could actually pull the videos, search the video for segments of the video where something is there, like find videos where Alex Hormozi is walking outside, and you could get a B roll clip of him and put it in the height video you're making about Alex Hormozi. Oh, that's awesome. And so it's really useful for video editors. And as you can see here, this is just incredibly useful. We can scrape anything and this works on any platform. Hey guys, by the way, every single skill that I mentioned in this video can be found in the link in the description. And you can see all of the skills and I actually included a lot more skills in this. And you can also hire the Riley Brown agent, and so this is an agent I've been working on, and if you just click hire agent, you can immediately add this agent to your IMessage. And then your agent will automatically start up, and then you can immediately start texting your agent by pressing text and open messages. And this will create a new message and you can say, "Hello Riley, agent. What skills do you have?" And just like that, an agent will actually respond. And there you go. It gives you a little contact card and here are the skills. So here are all the skills that it has. And then also, if you want to change the model, you can go /model, and this is just in IMessage. And this will give you all of the different models. You can say switch to Fable. And now it says switch to Cloud Fable 5. Anyway, so this agent is free to try. You have access to all the best models and you can try it for 100% for free. And I created this on Chorus, and Chorus is a platform we've been working on for the past three months, and we're trying to create this open agent platform where you can use any model connected to all of your tools and you can add it to iMessage, Slack, and any other platform. I would love your feedback. Anyway, it's free to try. Link is in the description. But I want to move on to the second most useful Codex skill for marketing, which is turning any creator into a skill. So here, I can stay in the same chat and what I'm going to do is I'm just going to use Whisperflow. I want you to actually go do some more research. I want you to find all of the videos that got the most engagement. So I want the top 10 videos that has the most engagement that are not sponsored on his channel, and I want you to then upload this to the database, so refresh the database, then I want you to turn all of his top performing videos into a skill. Call it Callaway top performing, and that is the name of the skill so that I can write content in his style at any time by using that skill. So now, we're just firing off Codex. It's going to go find his best performing videos and it will create the files inside Codex so that anytime I type in Callaway top performing, it'll let me write in his voice. Yeah, it's that easy. That's awesome. And you can do this for any creator in any vertical, and it just works. And it's fetching all the way back to 2023. What does it say? The full history poll is substantially broader than the first test. I'm paging through the account's real archive back into 2023, so older breakout hits can compete fairly. I'll retain the exclusion evidence for every rejected sponsor/promotional post, so it's filtering out all the sponsored content because those can be boosted, so it's like fake, like it's not real engagement. We want the high high quality scripts. Sponsored posts should not fit in that category. Here we go. Now we have videos, and look all of these have over 1,000 comments, and now we have all the videos. And so all of these videos are guaranteed to be some of his best, and this is his old style too. This is crazy. Yeah, I remember this video insanely viral, and so now it updated the database, and now it's creating this skill that we can use. There we go. So it created this skill called Callaway Top Performing. Now, if we were to go into a new chat here by pressing command n, I can type in Callaway top performing. See that? I want to create a script on Intel J space news by Anthropic that came out. You remember that? They they released a cool thing. I thought it was a little confusing. Callaway does a great job explaining things simply while also making it seem urgent and cool. Please create a script for this. Write three options in his voice. All right. And this is all that is, is just a file with those transcripts that we scraped. But the point is, I didn't have to go fetch the information. I didn't have to go write his script manually or do anything. I just said go find him, turn into a skill. Yeah, just use the skill and go do the job. There you go. Bang, it's done. Look at this. I'm going to read it like Callaway. "Anthropic just found a hidden workspace inside Claude's brain." That is such a good hook. And exactly like actually so good. And the weirdest part is, nobody programmed it. Nobody programmed it. They call it Jspace, and Callaway does that in every single one of his videos. This is exactly in his tone. Anthropic just created something close to a lie detector for AI. It's called J Lens. Interesting. Yeah, they had that as well, like What was that a thing? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Very interesting. And so yeah, it tried different angles, but like, honestly, I think option one is really good. And so that right there is how you take any creator, turn them into a skill. Okay, time for the third most useful workflow inside Codex, which is scraping ads. Now every time I say the name of this skill, it just it feels weird because this is an educational video. It's called Forplay. Forplay is just a name of a company. They made a useful tool because it allows you to scrape every ad ever created. And so if I can type /forplay API and I can immediately just scrape ads from any competitor. I want you to please scrape the longest running I want to unpack that, when you scrape their scrape content, and again this can be static ads or video ads, you can just scrape them. And you can download the video or download the images, you can download the transcript, but you don't get any of like the data. Obviously, they have internal data that shows like whether how it's performing the ROI, you know, like the ROAS on the on these specific ads, but the one metric that we can use for kind of as a proxy for that is how long they've been running it. If you run an ad for nine months, right, it's a pretty good likely that they presumably they're spending a lot of money keeping it alive for a good reason. For a good reason, and so we, what I always like to do and part of this skill if you download this skill in the description, my agent will automatically do this. But so I want you to please scrape the longest running ads from my competitors which are cloud.ai, perplexity and chat GPT and Replit. And so these are my competitors. I want you to scrape their longest running ads and let's go ahead and put it in a Notion dot database. This is just a test database you can put it in the archives folder, but I want a database of all of the information from this. And I want to take a look at what ads are performing well, so add a little text field in this Notion database which are your thoughts on why their ads are doing well. For each one I want a little document that explains why their ads are doing well and please create this database and I'll analyze it. Anything else I should add? Probably to get the raw. Please get the raw files, and actually I want the top five video ads from each one and the top top five static ads from each one. Make sure the videos are in English only. And so we can fire those off, and this is a prompt that may take a while. I mean this will probably take three four minutes, and actually, you know what? I'm going to stop it real quick. Since it's going to be doing some analysis and pattern recognition across a lot of data, I am going to go ahead and turn up soul a little bit. Let's just fire this off with extra high, and I'm just going to say keep going. And we want a little more intelligence in there, and this may cause it to take a little bit longer, but that's okay. We want to know why these ads are performing well so we can create ones that are as good. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, and it also allows you to kind of put in your taste, right? Yeah. And there you go. Look at that. Check this out. So it went to Instagram, it found his latest videos. It has the number of comments, how long the video was in seconds down to the decimal point. It has the Instagram real number of likes. Here's the script. This Chinese company ByteDance has officially released C Dance 2. And this is a big one, right? And you know, these subtle things and we I just showed you his videos, and it's he's very melodic, and he has really good scripting. In fact, that's like what his content is about, and it's so if you make your content or in marketing, you're going to want to pay attention to this. And so we now have all of his videos scraped and in a notion database. And then we can open notion directly inside Codex. That's awesome. And check this out. So here's the actual raw video. It scraped this and downloaded it, and it just uploaded it to Notion. And so one of the really useful things for this, if you're a video editor, oftentimes like if you're doing like compilations, or even like just a normal video editor like Leo, he wants to get B roll a lot, and so you can do this on YouTube and you could say like, go find videos of Switzerland, or go find videos of Alex Hormozi, and he could actually pull the videos, search the video for segments of the video where something is there, like find videos where Alex Hormozi is walking outside, and you could get a B roll clip of him and put it in the height video you're making about Alex Hormozi. I want you to actually do some more research. I want you to find all of the videos that got the most engagement. So I want the top 10 videos that has the most engagement that are not sponsored on his channel, and I want you to then upload this to the database, so refresh the database. Then I want you to turn all of his top performing videos into a skill. I want you to please scrape their longest running ads and let's go ahead and put it in a Notion dot database. And you know, these subtle things and we I just showed you his videos, and it's he's very melodic, and he has really good scripting. In fact, that's like what his content is about, and it's so if you make your content or in marketing, you're going to want to pay attention to this. And so we now have all of his videos scraped and in a notion database. And then we can open notion directly inside Codex. That's awesome. And check this out. So here's the actual raw video. It scraped this and downloaded it, and it just uploaded it to Notion. And so one of the really useful things for this, if you're a video editor, oftentimes like if you're doing like compil
