Effiziente Kühlung für Nvidia DGX Spark im DeskPi-Rack

X-PostC. Michael GibbsAnleitung

Cooling your @NVIDIAAI DGX Sparks is critical if you want them to last and provide you with consistent performance. There are three keys to making this happen. 1. Increasing air pressure to the front intakes increases airflow inside the DGX Spark. 2. Ensuring exhaust heat is t.co/JYpaZXc9eW

  1. @justinbrock @NVIDIAAI I have the fans configured to push/pull front to back and bottom to top. So air is being pushed out the back and top all the time. Keeping the enclosure ensures the air pressure is being directed exactly where you want it to go. A convertible config would be passive. If i had,
  2. It’s a DeskPi. Got it on Amazon from the GeekPi store.
  3. @gustavrlo @NVIDIAAI Yessir!
  4. Sorry - didn’t post this generally. The enclosure is a DeskPi Rackmate. Gotnit on Amazon.
  5. @gustavrlo @NVIDIAAI It’s a really high quality kit so everything wen together easy. You’ll want some male/female USB A extension cables. I just use a USB 10 port charging station for fan power. I’d maybe get fancier next time and get an AC fan controller linked to the enclosure ambient temperature.
  6. @SYMH_Comics @NVIDIAAI Yours is prettier 😁
  7. @jeffdavismd @NVIDIAAI Nope. The DeskPi airflow meshes had holes that all lined up with the Noctuas without a hitch. So the fans are attached to the meshes and the meshes attached tot he rack frames. I’d get some USB extension (USB-A male/female) cables just to make routing a bit easier.

  • @justinbrock @CMichaelGibbs @NVIDIAAI Would running it convertible style in that enclosure be even better?
  • @gustavrlo @CMichaelGibbs @NVIDIAAI is that the DeskPi RackMate?
  • @gustavrlo @CMichaelGibbs @NVIDIAAI NICE! Any tips you can pass down? (other than the cooling) I'm thinking on getting one too :)
