Functionality and Scope
dsh-superagent is an open research prototype designed to act as a proactive repository assistant within the DeepSeek Harness environment. It monitors activity on a target GitHub repository and optionally Feishu. When an authorized user requests assistance, the agent spins up an isolated working session and directory, carries out the engineering work, and responds in the relevant thread—typically with a pull request. A dedicated web panel flags tasks requiring human review.
Solved Problem and Philosophy
As autonomous agents gain broader capabilities across a codebase, they risk wasting significant team attention. DeepSeek centers the project around a core principle: consume minimal human attention while maximizing delivered value. The agent executes only when triggered by explicit team rules or authorized users, speaking up only when human intervention is mandatory or when concrete results are ready.
Tech Stack and Maturity
Built in TypeScript with pnpm management (pnpm check handles types, tests, and builds), the repository includes structured documentation covering execution models, authorization, and architecture. DeepSeek explicitly warns that the codebase is a research prototype rather than an official, production-ready product. Much of the underlying implementation was generated by coding agents during internal daily engineering, making it an informative reference architecture that requires team-specific adaptation before real-world adoption.
