Design Resources for AI Coding: Curated UI Pattern Inspiration

X postViktor OddyResource

Viktor Oddy shares a curated list of specialised design galleries and prompt libraries tailored for developers using AI coding tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, and Claude.

Key points

  1. MotionSites AI provides over 600 3D website concepts, 500+ animated gradients, and prompt templates designed for tools like Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, and Claude.
  2. Navbar Gallery curates navigation bar patterns across multiple formats including sticky bars, dropdowns, mega menus, and sidebars.
  3. Footer Design catalogues curated website footers categorized by style and type.
  4. Dedicated component galleries cover high-converting call-to-actions (cta.gallery), creative 404 pages (404s.design), and full site sections (unsection.com).
  5. Bentogrids.com and 60fps.design supply inspiration for bento-grid layouts and high-end motion details.

Why it matters

While AI coding tools drastically reduce development time, generating polished frontends still requires distinct UI references. Component-specific galleries and prompt libraries help developers direct AI models toward specific layouts, micro-interactions, and interface standards without starting from scratch.

Analysis

The list highlights an evolution in web design resources: moving from monolithic template marketplaces to granular, component-level inspiration and prompt-first libraries. Sites like MotionSites AI bridge visual design and AI generation directly, while focused repositories such as navbar.gallery allow engineers to grab structural patterns quickly for prompts and component libraries.
